Privacy Policy (required)

K-Global Bridge (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Act in order to protect users' personal information and promptly handle related grievances.

1. Items of Personal Information Processed
A. All Members
- Required: Email, password, mobile phone number
- Automatically collected: Access IP, access date and time, usage records, device and browser information
B. Users (Guests)
- Optional: Nickname, birth year, gender, preferred region, spoken languages, smoking status, blood type, MBTI, favorite food and alcohol, disallowed food, allergies
C. Partners
- Required: Name, nationality, gender, birth year, active region, spoken languages, profile picture, identification documents (alien registration card or passport), settlement account
- Optional: Introduction, smoking status, blood type, MBTI, food and alcohol preferences, disallowed food, allergies
D. Reservation and Payment Process
- Reservation date, time, and location, payment method information, payment and refund history, settlement history
- In-service chat history

2. Purpose of Processing Personal Information
- Member identification and identity verification
- Partner screening (verification of qualifications, age, and identity)
- Reservation brokerage, payment and refund processing, and partner settlement
- Condition matching to find and display well-suited partners
- Safety management, dispute resolution, and prevention of fraudulent use
- Fulfillment of obligations under statutes

3. Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information
A. Principle: Destroyed without undue delay upon withdrawal of membership.
B. Retention pursuant to statutes
- Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years (E-Commerce Act)
- Records on payment for goods and supply of goods: 5 years (E-Commerce Act)
- Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (E-Commerce Act)
- Records on display and advertising: 6 months (E-Commerce Act)
- Access records: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
C. Other periods
- Identification documents: Deleted after a set period following the completion of screening. The fact of screening and identity verification records remain even after deletion.
- Chat history: Retained for a certain period after session termination to respond to disputes.
- Settlement accounts: Deleted when partner activities end. However, settlement records are retained pursuant to item B.
- Records of restricted use due to fraudulent use: 1 year to prevent re-registration abuse

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company does not provide users' personal information to third parties. However, the following cases are exceptions:
- When the user has given prior consent
- When requested by investigative agencies in accordance with procedures and methods prescribed by statutes
- Information displayed to the counterpart within the scope necessary for meeting after a reservation is confirmed (nickname or activity name, age, gender, disallowed food and allergies, date, time, and location of the meeting)
※ Mobile phone numbers and email addresses are not provided to the counterpart, and contact information is automatically masked in in-service chats.

5. Entrustment of Personal Information Processing
The Company entrusts the processing of personal information as follows for the provision of services:
- Text message dispatch: PPURIO Co., Ltd. / Dispatch of reservation and authentication-related notification text messages
- Payment processing: Electronic payment agency (displayed on the service screen) / Payment and refund processing
- Server operation: Hosting provider / System operation for service provision
- Service usage analysis: Google LLC / Access statistical analysis
The Company specifies in contracts and manages and supervises so that the entrustee does not process personal information for purposes other than the purpose of entrustment. If the details of the entrustment or the entrustee change, the Company will notify through this policy.

6. Overseas Transfer of Personal Information
- Transferee: Google LLC
- Country of transfer: United States
- Items transferred: Cookies, IP address (anonymized), service usage history
- Purpose of transfer: Website usage analysis
- Date, time, and method of transfer: Transmitted via network at the time of service usage
- Retention period: Subject to Google's policies
Users may refuse the overseas transfer, and if refusing, you may block cookie storage by the method in Article 8. However, the use of some functions may be restricted.

7. Procedures and Methods for Destruction of Personal Information
A. Procedures: Information is destroyed without undue delay (within 5 days after the expiration of the retention period if there is a retention reason) when the retention period has elapsed or the processing purpose has been achieved.
B. Methods
- Electronic files: Deleted using methods that cannot be recovered.
- Paper documents: Shredded or incinerated.
- Identification documents are stored in a place not directly accessible from the web, and files are completely deleted upon destruction.

8. Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Devices that Automatically Collect Personal Information
A. The Company uses cookies to maintain login status and analytical tools (Google Analytics) for usage statistics.
B. Users may refuse cookie storage through web browser settings.
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Third-Party Cookies
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions
C. If you refuse cookies necessary for maintaining login, login will not be maintained, which may make service use difficult.

9. Rights and Obligations of Information Subjects and Legal Representatives and Methods of Exercise
A. Users may at any time request access to, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information.
B. Methods of exercise
- Directly: View and modify in 'My Information' after login, delete in 'Withdrawal'
- In writing, by email, or by telephone: Request to the Privacy Officer in Article 11
- When using an agent, you must submit a power of attorney.
C. Persons under the age of 19 cannot join the service, so there is no legal representative consent procedure.
D. If a request for correction or deletion is made, the relevant personal information will not be used or provided until processing is completed.
E. Information whose retention is prescribed by statutes may not be subject to a deletion request, and you will be notified of the reason.

10. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information
- Passwords are stored in an irreversible manner.
- Identification documents are stored in a place not directly accessible from the web, and a record of who accessed them and when is left whenever an operator views them.
- Settlement accounts display only the last digits on the screen, and identity verification is performed again via mobile phone when changing them.
- Contact information and external links are automatically masked in in-service chats.
- Persons with access to personal information are kept to a minimum, and access rights are managed.
- Access records are maintained and protected against forgery and alteration.

13. Changes to the Privacy Policy
If this policy is changed, the effective date and changes will be posted on the service screen from 7 days prior to the effective date. In the case of changes disadvantageous to users, posting will be made from 30 days prior and individually notified to registered contact information.

14. Authoritative Text
The Korean text of this policy is the authoritative text. Policies provided in other languages are translations to aid understanding, and in case of differences in interpretation, the Korean text shall prevail.
