Book time across a table with an international mate living in Korea.
What is this service
Many foreigners live in Korea for study, marriage, or work. Some want to learn Korean and meet people but do not know how, while some Koreans want to talk with someone from another country but have no way to arrange it.
K-GlobalBridge arranges a time for the two people to sit across from each other for a set duration. Users book time with a mate, and we stand between them to ensure the booking ends safely.
What the company does and does not do
We are an online mail-order broker, not a party to the meeting. However, we take responsibility for the following four things.
We vet our mates
We collect identification and personal documents, have a person review them directly, and approve them only after checking. Documents are deleted after the review and a set retention period.
We hold the funds
The amount you pay is held by us until the meeting is over. Settlements are sent to the mate after the dispute period passes.
We keep chat records
A chat room opens on the site once a booking is confirmed. If a problem occurs, we can check what was discussed.
We handle reports
If a report is filed for breaking the code of conduct, we pause settlement and investigate. We restrict use based on the results.
What kinds of time can you book?
The type depends on what you do together. Rates and duration differ by type, and each mate chooses which types they take.
Dining date · from ₩60,000
Share a meal and talk. Partner restaurants come with a discount.
Girlfriend for a day · from ₩60,000
Spend the day together as if you were dating. You agree the plan in the chat beforehand.
A day out · ₩450,000 for 10 hours
Exhibitions, markets, a walk around the neighbourhood.
How it works
Choose a mate
Browse by location, language, and date. Check their profile for languages spoken, proficiency, areas they visit, photos, nine short questions, and reviews.
Pick a time and pay
Choose from the times your mate has opened. Before paying, you can see the total amount and the refund breakdown by time. Please complete payment within {h} hours. If not, the slot will open up again.
The mate accepts
The mate has 12 hours to respond. If they decline or do not respond, you will receive a full refund. During this time, no one else can book that slot.
The day of the meeting
Meet at the agreed place. Time starts from the scheduled reservation hour. Once you meet, please tap "We met" on the booking screen.
Things we do not do
We do not decide the details of the meeting for you, nor do we join you at the meeting. Physical contact, sexual requests, forced drinking, and private transactions outside the site are prohibited. If these rules are broken, settlements will be stopped, use will be restricted, and depending on the case, we will report it to investigative agencies.
If something goes wrong during your meeting, tap Ask for help on your booking screen. The other person is not notified, and an administrator checks it right away.
