Sitting across from a stranger always requires a little courage. We believe our job is to make sure that courage does not turn into a bad experience.

Among foreigners living in Korea, some spend years going in circles because they have no one to talk to comfortably in Korean. Among Koreans, some want to hear stories from other countries but pass by because they do not know where or how to meet.

What these two people needed was not an introduction but a place that is safe. Mates only work here after we verify their identity with official documents. Your payment stays with us and reaches the mate after the meeting is over. And the messages you exchange stay on the site, so there is something to point to if anything goes wrong. That is why we built this service.

Our goal is not to create a large number of meetings. Our goal is to ensure that a single meeting does not end badly. That is why we screen mates carefully, postpone payment until after the meeting, and put prohibited behaviors in a visible place. Even if we go slowly, we believe that is the right path.
